Fascinated with otherworldly rock formations shaped by hundreds of years of wind and rain in the Klein Karoo and the dramatic cliffs of the Drakensberg Mountains; my jewellery reflects the connection I feel to the landscapes I grew up in.

Road trips from the Gauteng Province to the Western Cape provided dramatically contrasting landscapes and inspired my curiosity in the architecture in nature. I draw inspiration from the cracks and asymmetrical angles in these landscapes and design sculptural jewellery that reflects the scenes from the surface of where my metals where mined. I carefully select and cut the stones for these pieces into unique one of kind freeform shapes that continue the reflections of these escarpments.

Handmade jewellery is the outcome of a personal journey; it is the conclusion of hours and hours of errors and experimentation, times of frustration and pure joy.

Unique limited edition pieces are a form of self-expression.

It is important to me to create jewellery with an emphasis on design and longevity with an investment in the quality of craftsmanship… buying less but better.
